With its exceptionally elegant Shanghainese design and double height windows revealing an unforgettable spectacle, the restaurant lives up to its setting with first-rate authentic classic and creative Cantonese menus.

Led by veteran Master Chef Songwut Makkonantachot, aka “Chef G”, the culinary team prides itself on its perfectionism.  Chef G’s 42 years of experience began at age 17 in one of the city’s top Chinese restaurants of the time, called Peacock. Today, he has been with China Palace for 27 remarkable years, overseeing the restaurant becoming a Bangkok institution.

Freshness is key to his cuisine and hence fish and seafood including crabs are exclusively kept alive in tanks.

Among the signature dishes are:

  • Dim Sum all-you-can eat
  • “Pla Ka Pong Tord Num Pla” whole pla ka pong fish seasoned with aromatic Thai fish sauce.
  • Crispy Pork “Hong Kong” style
  • “Wonderful Crab” wok-fried fresh sea crab with “Chaiya” salty egg yolk.
  • Barbecued Spicy New Zealand Lamb “Szechuan” style
  • Peking Duck

China Palace is also a hot ticket for formal and celebratory gatherings. Its 300 covers include six private rooms accommodating 10-50 diners.,
